Adobe has released an update for Lightroom to version 2.5. This is a maintenance upgrade and fixes the following issues:
- Lightroom 2.4 on Windows continued to display the import dialog when a memory card was detected regardless of the preference setting “Show import dialog when a memory card is detected.”
- Lightroom 2.5 includes a correction to the demosaic algorithms for Bayer sensor cameras with unequal green response.
In addition, the following new cameras are now supported:
- Nikon D300s, D3000
- Olympus E-P1
- Panasonic DMC-FZ35, DMC-GF1
The update can be downloaded within Lightroom via Help then Check for Updates… of you can download it directly from Adobe. It is available for both Windows and Mac.
Also released is an update to bring Camera Raw to version 5.5. It is also available for Windows and Mac.
